JuliaCon 2020 Financial Assistance Application
JuliaCon 2020 aims to be an inclusive event. In an effort to reduce the degree to which cost may deter community members from attending this event, we offer financial assistance* to GSoC students, accepted speakers, and attendees who bring diverse experiences and backgrounds to the Julia community. We welcome participation from people of all races, ethnicities, gender identities, ages, abilities, religions, sexual orientations, personal/professional backgrounds, and schools of thought.

* By default, assistance will be provided as reimbursement. We should be able to make purchases for award recipients who are not able to make purchases for themselves.

How much financial assistance will you need to attend JuliaCon 2020. Please itemize below: (Registration, travel, lodging, ground transportation, visa, incidentals). Registration, lodging, and food funding will be at a level set by the conference, but please indicate which registration you are requesting, number of nights for lodging, and number of days for food. For Example: "Registration: Talks + Workshops, Travel: $500 (flying from BOS), Lodging: 5 nights, Ground transit: $50 (getting to/from airport and a few buses around town, Food: 5 days per diem, Visa: $50"
