Each year, CASA of Forsyth County, Inc. accepts nominations from the Forsyth County community for the Annual Light of Hope Award Ceremony, held during the month of April every year in honor of Child Abuse Awareness Month.
A Light of Hope Award is bestowed upon an individual or business that gives their time, energy, knowledge and resources for the betterment of a child or children. This person can either be a volunteer, professional, or business. Think of a teacher, social worker, faith-based volunteer, basketball coach, nurse, or local business and submit their nomination today! Nominations may be submitted by anyone with firsthand knowledge of the nominee's outstanding contributions.
The recipients of the Light of Hope Award will be selected by an anonymous committee comprising of a cross-section of individuals from our community. Nominations are presented to this committee in redacted form. This form must returned no later than Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
The award recipients will be notified by March 2024 and formally honored at the Light of Hope Ceremony on Thursday, April 18th 2024, at Browns Bridge Church.
