December 6, Early Release Event: 1:30-4:00pm
On Friday, December 6, the Spring Valley Library will be hosting a Kids Club activity and film screening. The event is an after-school program provided by the library on Spring Valley Early Release Days. Registration is required; with space available for 50. The deadline to register is Wednesday, December 4. Children under the age of 8 are not allowed to attend without the supervision of a responsible adult or older sibling.
The December 6 Early Release Event will feature various Kid's Club holiday craft projects led by our library director, Becky, and her assistant Kate.
Following the Kid's Club crafts, from 2:30pm until 4:00PM, the library will be offering a free screening of the new family film "Toy Story 4" (G). Snacks will be provided after the show.
Please note: In order to ensure each child is accounted for at the end of the day we require that parents/caregivers stop at the circulation desk before leaving, to inform library staff which children they are picking up. Please alert staff ahead of time if your child is being picked up by someone other than yourself.
Also, please ensure your child understands they have been registered for a library program and are to remain in the library where volunteers and staff can look out for them. We've had children wanting to exit the library and play on the playground unsupervised and this is obviously a safety issue. It is helpful if children are aware ahead of time of the expectations for their presence at the program so please be sure your child knows the policy of staying in the library until they are picked-up. This will help us in running a smooth program. Thank you.
Reminder: Parents please inform the elementary school office that your child will be attending the library program after school on Friday, December 6.
To register your child, please fill out the following form or contact the Spring Valley Library by emailing our Director at
or calling us at 715-778-4590. The deadline to register is Wednesday, December 4.
