Rep. Joaquin Castro is requesting public submissions for songs or albums from Latino artists that should be nominated for preservation in the National Recording Registry.
On an annual basis, the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress chooses 25 recordings for preservation that have
historic and aesthetic significance and/or importance to life in the United States.
Submissions may be a song or album and must be at least ten years old (released in 2014 or earlier.) To see if the song or album you want to nominate is already in the recording registry, you can check
