Dear YCJUSD Families ~

The Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) is designed to support students before and after school. The STARS ~ Beyond the Bell before and after-school program is the district run free program for YCJUSD students attending the following schools:

Calimesa Elementary
Chapman Heights Elementary
Mesa View Middle School*
Park View Middle School*
Ridgeview Elementary
Valley Elementary
Wildwood Elementary

*ELOP is funded to support TK-6th grade. For Middle School Students, please note that 6th grade will take priority placement within the program.

The following schools only have the Rising Stars (AM) program available.

Dunlap Elementary- Rising Stars ONLY (6:30 am-7:30 am)
Yucaipa High School- Rising Stars ONLY

STARS~Beyond the Bell Program Policy Information Page acknowledgement statements:

I understand that if I have any questions about any program policy, I should immediately consult with the STARS Principal, as any policy violation may result in discipline, up to and including dismissal from the program.

I understand that STARS~Beyond the Bell registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

I understand that the STARS~Beyond the Bell Program ends promptly at 6:00 p.m. and will pick up my child on time.

I understand that inappropriate, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior towards the program and its administrators from my student, me, or any of my authorized person(s) will result in the removal and dismissal of my student from the program.

I understand that I must attend an Open House session, in person or virtually, for the STARS program before the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
