Each LEA intending to operate a Near Peer Tutoring Program is eligible for funding to support student tutoring wages provided at an hourly rate.
Each LEA intending to operate a Near Peer Tutoring Program is eligible for funding to support adult coordinator wages provided as a stipend.
Each LEA intending to operate a Near Peer Tutoring Program is eligible for funding to provide ancillary goods intended to enhance student tutor and student tutee outcomes.
Individual LEA’s cannot apply to fund more than 5 high school Near-Peer Tutoring Programs in their LEA. The maximum award amount for any high school Near-Peer Tutoring Program is up to $50,000.00 per high school.
Submit this form by Friday, May 17, 2024, by 5:00 pm MDST to indicate your intention to provide a Near Peer Tutoring Program. All LEAs who do not complete this form before the deadline will decline the opportunity to operate the funded program.
Final award amounts will be determined for current program operators and for new program applications (if approved) once the intent to apply window is closed. Notice of award approvals will be sent later in May.
