American Vanilla Buttercream

This container comes with 2lb of vanilla buttercream, enough to fully decorate a standard 6in cake.

It can be left at room temperature for two days. It can be refrigerated for up to a week or frozen for up to 30 days. *If refrigerated or frozen, it must be set out to normalize to room temperature to be used. Just set on the counter to thaw.

I do recommend after icing your cake to keep it in the fridge. The main ingredient in buttercream is butter, if it gets too warm it can melt.

I also offer chocolate buttercream on request.

Keep in mind when mixing darker colors that this buttercream will darken some as it sits. If you are trying to make black icing, start with dark gray and let it sit for a bit. Adjust coloring if needed. If you add a TON of food coloring, it will affect the taste.
