If you have any questions, please email Thanks!

Please join us this year for "Happy Birthday Island Rec, 1984" on Saturday, May 18 from 10am to 2pm at John O. Linde Park. This theme was chosen to celebrate forty years of Island Rec fun! We aim to get kids moving through games, activities and creative opportunities. We very much look forward to seeing how you incorporate either a birthday or 80's theme into your activity booth. There will also be a Best Booth Contest!

The event will remain outside this year to accommodate our ever-growing event participation. Please take that into consideration when deciding on your activities. I am happy to help you brainstorm ideas and have had good luck googling carnival type games. You are welcome to bring a pop-up tent, tables and chairs or simply set up an area with an activity. As we will have more room this year you can take up as much space as you need. We will be set up on the multi-purpose field but can spread to other areas of the park as needed. If you would like to have an activity in another area of the park, please make note of that on the registration form.
