Captain/Instructor and Mate/Instructor for School Programs (Positions May-June with other part time work throughout the year)

Captain/Instructor and Mate Instructor for Summer Overnight Longboat Expeditions (late June- August)

Captain/Instructor for Adult Programs (Positions available May-October, with occasional work in off season)

Instructors for Youth Learn to Sail Summer Camp Programs (Positions available from mid June-August)

NWMC Boat-based Programs
The NWMC boat-based programs are drug, alcohol, and tobacco free. If offered a position, a pre-employment background check is required and a pre-employment drug test may be required. Throughout employment with the Northwest Maritime Center, certain boat-based program employees will be enrolled in a random drug testing program administered by the Maritime Consortium, in compliance with the Coast Guard mandatory drug testing regulation, as contained in 46 CFR part 16.
