Innovation Scouts: Application Form
The Innovation Scouts are a community of practice held for North West participants which focusses on innovation and entrepreneurship. Supported by the Innovation Agency through a programme of networking, learning and development opportunities, Innovation Scouts increase confidence in innovating, making connections and attaining practical entrepreneurial skills for the purpose of improving health and care services. Please complete this form to indicate your interest in becoming an Innovation Scout.

Benefits

1. Innovation tools and approaches – design thinking, experimentation, thinking creatively, innovators mind-set, practical tools, hackathons, MedCamps.
2. Culture and leadership for innovation – organisational readiness, strategy development, engaging staff in innovation, conditions for innovation culture, developing innovative teams.
3. Innovation pathway – appraising evidence, evaluation, uptake of innovation, optimising diffusion.
4. Entrepreneurial skills – entrepreneurs mind-set, business skills, creating successful start ups, intellectual property, commercialisation, navigating procurement, resilience and maintaining wellbeing.
5. Coaching and mentoring – access to innovation coaches and business mentorship
6. Thought leadership and site visits – bringing expert speakers on innovation and entrepreneurship and facilitating visits to leading innovative organisations.
7. Connecting and networking – providing opportunities to share experiences and gain knowledge through networking with like-minded people.

Members

Shortlisting will take place on Wednesday 28th August and notifications will be sent on Thursday 29th August to all applicants. Applications will close and reopen on 16th October.
