ELIGIBLE Expenses:
• production and content fees
• artist, speaker, performer fees
• efforts to prioritize Black, Indigenous, People of Colour voices and representation
• efforts to make events more accessible for your audience

• purchase of alcohol or some food
• staff and administrative fees

Priority for funding will be given to community groups and non-profit organizations; events focused on education, health, or wellness; and events that highlight or focus on historically underrepresented groups within the Gender and Sexually Diverse communities (Black, Two-Spirit and Indigenous, Trans and gender diverse, youth, seniors, etc.)

The deadline is August 22, 2020.
Positive Space Training Requirement
We require all event hosts to take "Positive Space Training" provided by the UR Pride Centre. There's no cost and training will take place online.

We require training to make sure all Queen City Pride Festival events are organized by folks who are aware of making spaces safer, braver, and more welcoming to our community.

We recommend all events have at least TWO people (who are involved in planning and hosting the event) attend the training. If you've already taken this training within the last TWO years, you do not have to take it again.
