Composer-in-Residence Application
Please complete this form to apply for the position of Composer-in-Residence at the Women Composers Festival of Hartford. Applications are accepted year-round, but must be received by January 1 to be considered for the following year. If you have submitted an application in past years, we will consider it in future years; however, if you would like to submit new information, you may edit your existing response. WCFH encourages applications from composers who are women/femme or those who identify significantly with those terms. We particularly enjoy working with folks who are aligned with our intention to promote an intersectional feminist aesthetic in music.

Each year, we will contact a short list of applicants for additional materials, including contact information for at least 3 professional references.

Due to the volume of applicants and the continuous nature of the call, you will only be contacted if/when you are short-listed for an upcoming Festival.
