ISSS Locker Rental Contract 2023-2024
This contract outlines rules and regulations which must be followed by all renters of ISSS lockers. The ISSS executive reserves the right to amend rules and regulations with notice to locker renters. Please read each of the terms below carefully and type your name as an agreement of the contract.

Rules and Regulations

  • Locks are to be supplied by the renter.
  • Rental costs are as follows per term:
    • CCIS (L1-Central, L1-West, L2) - $17.00
    • CAB (Level 2 Women, Level 2 Men, Level 3 Women, Level 3 Men) - $12.00
    • SAB (First floor, Basement) - $10.00
  • Rental terms are as follows:
    • Fall expiring on December 23rd, 2023
    • Winter expiring on April 27th, 2024
  • ISSS shall provide access, i.e. cut off the lock, to any locker when asked by Campus Security, the University of Alberta Administration, the R.C.M.P., or the Edmonton City Police. The renter of any locker shall be responsible for any illegal actions and illicit material done or found within the locker.
  • Any locker which is requested to be vacated for the breach of contract must be vacated by the date assigned. Any property left within the locker becomes the property of the ISSS.
  • The user of the locker must sign the contract and pay for the locker before any lock is placed on the locker. Failure to do so will result in the removal of the lock and the contents of the locker.
  • It is understood that the ISSS will remove locks not removed by the owner on the last day of the rental and that contents will be discarded.
  • The Interdepartmental Science Students’ Society is not responsible for the contents of the locker in any way.
  • Locker refunds will only be available to those with valid reasons. 
  • Locker refund forms are to be filled out by October 1st for Fall 2023, February 9th for Winter 2024, and May 31 for Spring/Summer 2024 (this includes locker exchanges of different price ranges). Locker refunds after specified dates will not be issued.

The ISSS will not interfere with the locker unless there is a breach of contract. Enjoy your locker and good luck with your studies!
