Cardiometabolic Wellness Fat Loss Program 
Introduction

Welcome and thank you for showing interest in our fat loss program! We are happy to be able to offer it for free!

This is a dietitian-developed program to help you meet your wellness goals in a supportive environment with other people who have the same goals.  It is focused on improving your diet and physical activity levels with the goal of fat loss and muscle gain, which will improve your health and wellness long-term. 

Don’t worry, you don’t have to follow the program perfectly! We are just looking to make positive changes over time. 

About the Program 

This is a virtual group fat loss program, which includes participation in a supportive Facebook group to help answer questions you may have about the program, as well as the Quick Start Guide for Fat Loss, to help give you the exact steps to take to make progress on your goals. The guidebook is over 20 pages and filled with helpful strategies to meet your goals.  It has nutrition, exercise and supplement recommendations, as well as evidence-based strategies to implement. It covers everything from recipes, menu ideas, best practices, common problems and their solutions and many more areas.  The guidebook is an easily accessible PDF.

However, this is not an individualized program. If you need individualized support, we can arrange a one-on-one nutrition counseling session and develop and personal meal plan to meet your needs. Many people have nutrition benefits that cover dietitian visits at $0 cost. We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna & Medicare. We also have low-cost out-of-pocket options for those without these benefits ($50 for one month of access to our online portal with personalized nutrition plan and messaging). Disclaimers

The goal of the Facebook support group is to help with answering questions about the program, for accountability and as a supportive community of like-minded individuals. It is not for answering personal health questions or nutrition questions unrelated to the program. 

The support group should be a safe, positive and uplifting place. Negativity, abuse or disrespect won’t be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the program for disruptive or negative behaviors. 

Be smart and avoid giving out any private information that you wouldn't want seen by others. You can also post anonymously, if you want. Obviously, this program and group is voluntary and by joining you acknowledge that it is of your own choice and that you understand all risks involved.

Additionally, the program guide and workbook are only intended for the individual who it was given to, so please don't share, copy or distribute the guides to others. This program is granted through application only and approval is based upon your unique health history and needs. You have to meet certain criteria to join (listed below), and it may not be appropriate for everyone. You can refer your friends and family to us directly if they want to join.

Lastly, we recommend consulting your doctor prior to making any nutrition or exercise changes, to ensure it is right for you. There is no one-size-fits-all diet or exercise regimen, therefore your individual needs and preferences may differ from this program’s recommendations. If you have any food allergies or intolerances, you should avoid any of these items, if they are listed in the guidebook.

Once you complete both of those tasks, I will email you a copy of the Quick Start Guide for Fat Loss, as long as you meet the criteria to join, and I will also add you to our newsletter. 

FYI, the criteria is fairly simple and is based on your BMI, age (18 years or older) and not having certain conditions such as an eating disorder, pregnancy/nursing, extensive medical complexity or contradictory nutrition needs that do not align with this program. 

Once you get the guide, you can get started immediately. You can also pop into the Facebook group and introduce yourself. I’m excited to help support you in meeting your health goals!

These strategies are helpful for most, but your results cannot be guaranteed. Only move forward with the program, if you understand that by doing so, you release all liability and you are following this of your own accord, understanding potential risks involved.
