Hello! Please complete this questionnaire if you'd like to participate in workshops to migrate to the latest Flux guided by Flux maintainers and/or contributors. We'd like small - medium groups of people on the same team with the same set-up who are willing to volunteer their migration needs to us. That way, we can help you through the migration guides, understand your use cases, and improve any pain points that we observe. (We will follow https://toolkit.fluxcd.io/guides/flux-v1-migration/
and other related guides). The workshops will be 3-4 hours with breaks and we'll see how much we can get through together.
We appreciate any volunteers who would like to participate so that we can improve Flux migration documentation. These will start out as experimental workshops so that we can build toward providing original Flux users the best migration experience possible to the latest Flux.
This is an open source community effort by the Flux project (https://fluxcd.io/
), which is in the CNCF, and it is not connected to any specific company. We hope that these workshops will be mutually beneficial. We'll do our best to offer you live walk-throughs and troubleshooting of the guides, and we will appreciate watching your steps so that we can improve our docs. Our goal is to try out these workshops before the start of the official migration period so that we can be as prepared as possible. We will base our selections on complexity of the use case and time zone. We hope to start with easier use cases and then take on the more challenging examples after that. We will also start with companies that are in time zones where community members are available to help in real time.

* Note that if you need a private workshop with legal contracts and a professional who has access to your sensitive environments or data, we can refer you to people who can help (see contact info below). This workshop is NOT that! We are community members helping other community members and will NOT be touching your keyboards, SSHing into your environment, signing contracts, or wanting to see any of your company's or other sensitive data. The workshops will be conducted via video conversations where you will share your screens and the workshop instructors will guide you through the steps + share any auxiliary information via Slack. We may also record the session in case we need to capture important challenges or screen captures for the documentation. We will discuss any screen captures with you before adding to the documentation.
