APF Serve America Campaign: NYC Parks Tree Stewardship Project
The American Pakistan Foundation is delighted to announce our partnership with the Pakistani American Youth Society and New York City Department of Parks and Recreation on a tree stewardship project on Saturday, September 30th in Brooklyn, New York from 9 AM to 1 PM at Foster and Coney Island Avenues Participation is free and open to the public.

Meeting location: 1001 Newkirk Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11230

The NYC Stewardship project aims to make NYC neighborhoods cleaner and greener. Volunteers for the NYC Stewardship project will participate in a street-tree care event, where they will aerate, mulch, and learn about identifying city trees.

Volunteers should dress in clothes that can get dirty and wear closed-toed shoes. Volunteers are also encouraged to bring water and a snack. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone.

Required advance registration deadline extended to Sunday, September 24th. Space is limited.
