Who we are: The Intercultural Community Center (ICC) is a local Westbrook organization founded in 2014 by Rwandan immigrants. We offer free year round programming for both youth and adults, with the focus of providing educational, health and wellness, and community resources.
What is Power Summer?:
ICC's Power Summer is a FREE academic support based day camp for Westbrook students in grades 5-8. Programming will be held at Westbrook Middle School and field trips across the state, and ICC will provide transportation to and from all programming. Free breakfast, lunch, and snack will be provided for all students. Please note that this program is ONLY for students entering grades 5-8.
Throughout the summer, students will take part in hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Environment, Art, and Math) experiments, interactive ELA (English Language Acquisition) projects, outdoor and movement activities, fun filled field trips, and guest speakers. Please join us for our Power Summer open house on June 21st at Walker St. Park, Westbrook ME 04092 from 10am-12pm.

Field Trips - Field trip locations and addresses will be communicated via text and the emailed in the weekly newsletter prior to the start of each week.

Important Information: Please note that at this time ICC staff are not equipped or trained to accommodate for students with physical disabilities that necessitate a wheelchair, or impair the ability to sit up, stand, or walk independently. We are also currently unable to accommodate students with cognitive disabilities that significantly affect verbal communication, or affect the ability to eat or use the restroom independently.
