Virginia Service Foundation Mini Grant Application Guidelines

The Virginia Service Foundation is now accepting applications for 2020 Service Project Mini-Grants. Qualifying organizations may be eligible for an award of up to $250.00 to use towards hosting a Service Project for 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance. A limited number of grants are available and applications will be scored based on project scope and community benefits.

All applicants also agree to promote their projects through local and social media as well as link to the Virginia Service Facebook and Twitter feeds.

Any public or private nonprofit organization, serving the Commonwealth of Virginia, including faith-based and other community organizations, public or private schools, institutions of higher education and government entities. Projects must take place in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Projects must take place during Day to Serve September 11, 2020 - October 10, 2020.

Please note- reimbursement requests must come from the organization.

August 1, 2020 - Notice of Funding Availability
August 10, 2020 - Applications Deadline.
August 15, 2020 - Award Announcements.
September 11, 2020-October 10, 2020 - Projects take place
Within 1 week of Completed Project - Final Report Due to Foundation and Final Funds will be distributed on a reimbursement basis. More information will be supplied with grant approval.
