Motor City Scholars (MCS) is committed to expanding educational opportunities for Detroit area youth, particularly for students who aspire to further their education. Recognizing the variety of challenges faced by students pursuing higher education, we seek to bridge the gap, ensuring that financial barriers do not impede the academic and personal growth of these promising individuals. Students pursuing either college or vocational training are eligible to apply.  Scholarships will be processed three times per year, on or about January, July and September of each year.
