Student-Run Record Label Project Application

Do you aspire to a career in the music industry? Get started now with the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship’s, Unispan Records, which offer students real-life experience recording, producing, promoting, and distributing music. Unispan Records is a partnership with the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication, the Frank. G. Zarb School of Business and the Department of Music (School of Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts, Hofstra College of Liberal Arts & Sciences) and is now accepting applications for the Spring 2023- Fall 2023 semesters. Students from all majors and disciplines are eligible to apply.

Students are mentored by top industry professionals, participating in workshops on Mondays from 6PM-8PM. Students immerse themselves in all aspects of the recording business and perform all duties necessary to commercialize music. All positions with Unispan Records are volunteer and unpaid, but some students may be eligible to earn academic credit through independent study.

The application deadline is December 16, 2022 at 11PM.
