Free the Facts Fellow Program
The Free the Facts Fellow Program helps promising young leaders tackle many of the logistical challenges associated with a summer internship in Washington, D.C., including housing, funding, and/or networking. In order to be eligible for the Fellow Program, applicants must:

1) be a rising sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student in good academic standing with their home institution or is a recent (within 12 months) college graduate,

2) have independently secured an internship in the Washington, D.C. area, and

3) agree to assist the Free the Facts team with promotion and on-site production for our "Summer in D.C." Speaker Series (5-10 hours of work each week).

In exchange for their assistance with our summer programming, Fellows are eligible to receive:

1) accommodation in housing that Free the Facts has secured for our summer leadership programs (Note: due to housing restrictions, this option is only available to applicants accepted into the Fellow Program before April 1);

2) a monetary stipend to cover expenses for housing that a Fellow has independently secured (if accepted into the Fellow Program before May 5);

3) a modest monetary stipend to supplement a Fellow’s summer income so they can cover other living expenses (amount to be determined based on need and availability);

4) access to our professional network and invitations to exclusive summer programs and events that are only available to students in Free the Facts' leadership network; and/or

5) a letter of recommendation from Free the Facts' senior leadership (provided the Fellow fulfills all necessary requirements for a recommendation during their tenure).

Application Deadlines:
April 1st for applicants seeking pre-arranged housing from FtF
April 30th for applicants seeking housing stipends and other support
