Thank you for your interest in Krewe da Bhan Gras! We look forward to getting to know a little more about you.
Krewe da Bhan Gras is a social and dance collective dedicated to showcasing the vibrant culture of the New Orleans South Asian diaspora. We celebrate the various nationalities, regions, religions and diverse experiences our members embody to foster a sense of belonging and unity, within the richness of the South Asian Diaspora. Our Krewe originated from a local South Asian friend group dedicated to both community and social justice and these themes have resulted in the creation of a welcoming multi-generational circle focused on advocacy, education, inclusivity, joy, and fun!
Multigenerational Accessibility
All ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged to join our Krewe!
Youth under age 21 do not have a membership fee.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please note that while parade restrictions may limit youth participation in some parades, they are always welcome at all other Krewe events!
We are committed to making our events accessible to everyone! For members who have mobility issues or are older, most of our parades feature support vehicles allowing you to ride along or take a rest when needed. We are happy to work directly with you to find what accommodation works best for your needs.
