Berkshire Ornithological Club Grebe Survey
This survey is being carried out to determine the breeding status of grebes in Berkshire. Little Grebes appear to have been declining steadily over the last thirty years, whilst Great Crested Grebes, for which Berkshire has a nationally significant population, have been stable or increasing in abundance. We are seeking to monitor water bodies in the County above 100 square metres for evidence of breeding Little Grebe and Great Crested Grebe and to characterise their preferred habitats.

Please record the location and habitat for the water body, whether or not grebes are present and please use a separate form for each water body and each visit.
