SFOS is excited to announce our inaugural Young OD event taking place next month. Young OD socials and mixers are a series of smaller events aimed to provide resources and experiences primarily to young OD's as they navigate their career path in optometry. The topic and type of event may vary throughout the year. After each event, SFOS will gauge the feedback from members on topics that our members would like to learn more about (e.g. taking out a loan for a practice, practice management, specific ocular disease presentations, specialty contact lens fitting, legislative roundtable discussions, pure social events, etc). 

Our first event is a mixer with brief presentations on Professional Advocacy and Professional Networking sponsored by Johnson & Johnson. Space is limited; please RSVP to reserve your spot today (students please indicate your graduating year below). You will receive a confirmation email if your seat is reserved, or if you are placed on the waitlist.
