One of the winners of our 2025 Gas Democratic Budget, as voted by our customer members with CoPower Gas, is the Energy Saving Grant initiative, with $3,760 worth of grants with 8 grants available to our customer members with CoPower Gas, to the value of up to $470 each.

The grants are open to customer members with CoPower Gas accounts, and the grants are to assist with initiatives to help you reduce your energy use and where possible get off gas. Examples could include investing in efficient electric appliances, improving insulation and draught proofing.

The first round of grants will be open until 19 October and will be awarded on a merit basis.

While this is a grant to enable people to purchase products or services that support electrification, for operational and security purposes our strong preference is to provide the grant funds to customer members in the form of a reimbursement. This means you first buy the product, then send us a tax invoice confirming the purchase of a product or service dated between 20th October 2025 and 30th June 2026, then afterwards we provide you the funds within 7 days.
