The Tacoma Parks Foundation (TPF) is a 501c3 foundation whose primary purpose is to raise funds for Parks Tacoma people, programs, and parks. Our primary funding priorities are Beyond the Bell, Club Beyond, Summer Late Nights, youth sports, inclusive sports, and capital projects. While each board member is not responsible for directly raising funds (although this is encouraged), each board member is requested to leverage their relationships, access to funds, access to their networks, and access to power for the purpose of raising funds.TPF Mission:
We cultivate a community invested in providing parks and recreation access for all.
TPF Vision:
Plentiful, equitable access to nature, play, and recreation in Tacoma.
TPF Values:
Equity and Access: We work to counteract historic inequities, overcome barriers, and create a sense of belonging for all.
Collaboration: We seek to amplify and champion support for parks programs, people, places, and projects.
Youth Development: We nurture the future of Tacoma by prioritizing experiences for youth.
Thriving Communities: We all benefit by taking care of each other, ourselves, and our communities in a healthy and sustainable way.
