R.O.C. Studio Camper Application 2020

Thank you so much for your interest in attending R.O.C. Studio!

2020 would have been our 9th annual Girls Rock Camp and 3rd annual Pride Rock Camp ✨
This summer, we're shifting our focus from in-person programming to a new online format!

Introducing: R.O.C. Studio! 💖

R.O.C. Studio is a Radical Online Collaboration Studio, a new online musical experience for girls and lgbtq+ youth, ages 8-17.

We’ll be taking the main parts of Rock Camp --assemblies, workshops, and band practice-- and adapting them to online hangouts, skillshare videos, and digital songwriting collaboration. And of course, R.O.C. Studio will still have all the best aspects of camp-- empowerment, friendship, self-care, and more!

R.O.C. Studio begins the morning of Monday, July 27th and runs through the evening of Friday, July 31st.

Monday - Friday
10:00 - 10:30 Opening assembly
10:45 - 11:30 Workshop
12:00 - 12:30 Lunch Time Performance
1:00 - 1:45 Workshop
2:00 - 3:00 Band Practice
3:15 - 3:45 Closing Assembly

Suggested tuition for R.O.C. Studio is $150. This covers the whole week, including educational workshops + the opportunity to meet new friends + the experience of creative collaboration!

In order to present this year's participants with quality programming and to provide future campers with all the musical instruments, gear, and other supplies necessary to play, learn, & have fun, we rely heavily on funding from tuition. This year, it's especially important as we have lost significant revenue from cancelled events in March, April, and May.

However, we understand that this time of difficulty has financially impacted our community. We still want to make sure that everyone who wants to attend has the opportunity! Because of this, we operate on sliding scale tuition-- now and always.

Please take into consideration your income and resources when requesting discounted tuition. We don't require any proof, but we do ask that you make an honest choice about what is best for your financial situation.
What will you be paying? *
