Topic Area *
Most of all, we're looking for interesting talks on interesting topics in the web tooling space.Ā We will be grading your submission on whether it's on-topic for SquiggleConf. Our suggested categories with example focuses are:
  • Accessibility: the accessibility tree, WCAG, web accessibility
  • Building: CLI tools, deployments, monorepo management
  • Documentation: Writing docs, tools to manage and/or share them, explaining code
  • Editors: Tools such as IDEs along with integrations and plugins built on them
  • Go and/or Zig: Using the popular low-level languages for web development and/or tooling
  • Open Source:Ā The making, maintenance, release, and socialization of shared software
  • Performance: Enhancing performance of apps, sites, or any web dev tools
  • Runtimes:Ā Execution environments such as Bun, Deno, and Node.js
  • Rust: Working in Rust for the purposes of web dev apps and/or tooling
  • Testing: The art of verifying code, or building tools to help developers test
  • Tooling: Debuggers, integrations, and general dev tools themselves
  • TypeScript: Integrating, working with, or even contributing to our favorite JS superset
  • WebAssembly: Tooling or usage of WebAssembly/WASI/WASM
  • "Other":Ā Something fun or incredible. We love off-the-beaten-trail fun things.
We are not looking for talks whose primary focus is:
  • AI: We absolutely welcome AI being in your talk, but the primary topic(s) should be centered on a dev tooling category such as one our suggested ones.
  • Blockchain/Crypto/NFTs: We doubt these will be applicable and useful, but we are open minded and welcome you to make your case.
Please tell us in 2-3 sentences: which 1-3 topic areas your talk most aligns to, and whyĀ you think you and your talk will be a good fit for this audience.

Any links to social media profiles (Bluesky, GitHub, Mastodon, YouTube, etc.) and/or your website (if you have one).
Workshop InterestĀ Ā [Optional]
Would you be interested in giving a workshop the day after the conference?

If there's another topic, please give a 2-3 sentence overview of what you'd like to cover.
Anything Else?Ā Ā [Optional]
Any other information you think we'd want to know about you and/or the talk, such as your perspective on the area you're talking about, your relationship tools you're speaking about, and/or experiences that make the audience uniquely interested in you giving the talk.
