YMI CHURCH HOST
REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITES

Host Church must
(a) accomplish YMI Church Information Sheet (next page)

(b) submit a copy of the church’s statement of faith, please email it to ymi@jesusglobalyouthday.ph

(c) must have at least 2 to 3 the following ministries:
• Student Ministry/ Youth Fellowship
• Sunday Worship Service
• Children Ministry
• Community Service
• Small Discipleship Groups or in case there is none, the HC is willing to start a small discipleship group

(d) assign a Team coordinator (TC) to represent the church and to coordinate with the YMI Team leader for updates
and other information


Host Church will receive a team of 7 to 10 participants and will be responsible for:
(a) airport pick up and transfers around the city (from July 31 to August 7 only).
(b) arrange accommodation for the team within the community area. Church premises is the first priority. If the church is
not capable, homestay can be arranged at least 3-5 participants per host.
(c) ensure team’s security for the whole duration of their stay and facilitate permits needed for the group’s activities.
(d) relay to the church workers and members regarding team’s activities.
(e) coordinate with the ministry sites beforehand to avoid miscommunication or delays
(f) orient the team regarding church ministries and expectations, community culture and whereabouts (like where to buy
food, cook, etc...)
(g) assign at least two youth leaders to be with the team to help with the direction, translation and documentation for
church report and follow up.
(h) Finalize schedule of activities with the TC
