Registration for the the 2022 Smith-Collett Classic

The Connecticut Hickory Golf Association is excited to announce th second annual Smith-Collett Classic at Shennecossett Golf Course on Saturday, June 25th, 2022. Tee times will begin at 12:00PM, and the fee will be $40 per walking player, or $60 per riding player. Players must register here by Friday, June 10th, and payment is due to the course on the day of the event.

The format is modified stableford, and we will recognize the top scorers in the open division for both gross and net (all golfers), senior division gross (golfers 60+), and women's division gross. New this year, open and senior divisions will play from the same tees measuring approximately 5,700 yards.

Please note that we will *not* adjust or translate handicaps to an equivalent hickory handicap for net purposes. SoHG and GHIN handicaps will be weighted equally in net scoring.

Note: If you have not entered a handicap into one of the two boxes above, your scores will be counted for gross scoring only and will not be eligible for net scoring. If you acquire a handicap rating between the time you register and June 25th, please email Jacob Orcutt at jacob@cthickorygolf.org so we can update your handicap in our scoring system.

I understand that a tournament fee of $40 (or $60 for players taking a cart) is due to the course on the day of the event. By completing this form, I am committing to playing in the Smith-Collett Classic and paying the fees as laid out in this form. If I am unable to attend, I understand that it is my responsibility to provide the Connecticut Hickory Golf Association advanced notice of my absence.
