No previous technical knowledge or Morse code requirements are needed. This study session is for anyone who would like to obtain their technician level amateur radio license. The study session consists of guided study sessions and hourly breaks from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Cost for the session is $ 15.00 in Holland, followed by the FCC testing session at 6:00PM. Please pay by cash or check only! !
Please understand that this is a "study hall" session, where you will memorize the test questions and the proper answer.

What to bring with you.....
If available bring a legal photo ID such as a Drivers License or Passport.
If no legal photo ID is available then bring 2 pieces of legal ID. Anyone 16 years old or
younger must have a parent or legal guardian present for the entire session..

**The study sessions uses memory retention.
People who have concentration issues may not do well in this type of studying.

The Laurel VEC, who we are affiliated with, uses a computer program to run the test session. This allows us to electronically send your application and results to the FCC the next business day and your results and/or new call sign are usually available within two or three business days.
You must obtain an FCC "FRN" before taking the test. You can obtain this by following the instructions at:
