All teachers involved in the design challenge are invited to participate in the official Design Challenge Workshop on the following date:
DESIGN CHALLENGE WORKSHOP- Tuesday September 24th 2019 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
An optional Design Challenge Support Workshop will be offered for those needing extra support or for any teachers unable to attend the official workshop. Please note, this date is informal and no official agenda is scheduled as it is dependent upon the needs of the teachers attending. Teachers planning to attend the support workshop will need to RSVP a minimum of 2 weeks prior to each workshop offered.
SUPPORT WORKSHOP- Saturday October 12th, 2018 9 - 12 pm
The first 10 elementary, 10 middle school, and 10 high school teachers to register will receive a $200 stipend upon completion of the following:1. Participate in a pre and post teacher survey2. Implement the ZOOMS Design Challenge in to the classroom3. Submit student projects to be considered for the ZOOMS Design Challenge Exhibition in March.4. Have students complete a pre and post design challenge survey.
Both new and former ZOOMS Challenge teachers are eligible! You will be notified by email if you are one of the first 10 teachers to apply. Stipends will be processed at the end of March 2020 for all teachers who completed the requirements.
