EEA 2019 Nomination Form for Exhibition Organizers
The Exhibition Excellence Awards 2019 ("EEA") are designed to recognise the contribution of exhibition industry in India and felicitate its distinguished achievers. There are 36 categories for exhibition organisers. While KPMG (Registered) has been appointed as the Process Advisor & Evaluator, an esteemed panel of jury from diverse backgrounds has also been set up. These national awards are supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of MSME & the Ministry of Skill Development besides leading industry associations. Organisations can apply in more than one category. Nomination in any one category of your choice is free of cost after which there is a nomination fees of three thousand rupees (Rs. 3000/-) per category. The tenure for consideration is strictly for shows held between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018. Nominees are required to submit the supporting documents & nomination fees along their self attestation for award qualification. Nominations close on January 18, 2019. This form is divided in three sections i.e., Award categories at a glance, Nomination Details, Payment Information.
The Leading Sector Shows - 25 Sector wise categories
All sectors mentioned under are for shows which cater to the specified respective industries. Each sector is a different award category, eg. Leading show in xxxx. The winner will be judged on the basis of Number of Exhibitors & Net Exhibition Area (In sq. metres. Net area is the area of booth space sold to exhibitors) of 2018 edition of the show. Both the parameters carry a 1:1 weight ratio. In case of a tie, winner will be decided on the basis of number of total editions of the show. Supporting documents for all these 25 categories are Exhibitor Directory and the Floor Plan of the show.
Top Industry Impact Show
This category is only open for shows that serve the sectors that are not mentioned in above list. Top 3 Shows will be honored in this category. Organiser needs to mention how their shows impact its industry positively. Mention About the Show, its USP & Impact in 200 words. Then mention the net exhibition area and number of exhibitors in 2018 edition. A tie will be judged on basis of number of past editions of the show. Supporting documents are exhibition directory, floor plan and show website.
The Unique Show
This category is for the organiser who has produced a show on a very niche topic and is a rare, one-of-its kind show for the industry. The organiser will mention About the Show, The Value it Creates for its industry, how it’s a rare / niche / unique show of its kind, what are similar shows in that respective industry, in not more than 400 words. A Tie will be adjudged on basis of number of participating exhibitors in the 2018 edition. Supporting documents are show website, show poster / brochure.
Top Make in India Supporting Show
For any Show that had maximum exhibitors in its Pavilion for 'Make In India'. Supporting document will be exhibitor list of such companies. Tie will be judged on basis of greater Net Area of this zone.
Top Start-Up India Supporting Show
For any Show that had maximum exhibitors in its Pavilion for 'Start-Up India'. Supporting document will be exhibitor list of such companies. Tie will be judged on basis of greater Net Area of this zone.
The Fastest Growing Show
On the basis of growth in the Net Exhibition Area in 2018 edition of the show as compared to its previous edition. The show with greatest percentage growth will be the winner. In case of a tie, show with greater Net Exhibition Area in 2018 edition will be adjudged the winner. Supporting Documents will be the floor plans of both the editions of the show.
Top Global Dominance
On the basis of percentage of foreign exhibitor participation at the show. The show with greater percentage will win. The foreign exhibitor count will be a subset of the total exhibitors at the event. As supporting evidence, the organiser will be required to send the exhibitor directory / list and the list of foreign exhibitors either marked in the same or as a seperate list. Tie will be judged on the basis of running editions.
The Knowledge Hub
On the basis of number of co-held conference sessions at the exhibition. Supporting document will be the conference brochure / brochure with session details. Tie will be judged on basis of number of running editions
The International Star
Organiser who promotes any Indian sector abroad. Organiser will mention Details of shows done abroad in 2018 & Net Exhibition Area show wise. Supporting documents will be show brochures / websites & floorplans. Both parameters have equal weights. A tie will be judged on the basis of the show that was started abroad earlier than the other.
Organiser who organised maximum number of shows in B-cities (any city other than Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahemadabad, Bangalore, Chennai & Kolkata) in 2018. As supporting evidence, organiser has to send relevant information that may be exhibitor directories or floor plans of each show.
Top B City Show (B2B)
For any trade show held in 2018 in any B-City (Any city other than Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahemadabad, Chennai & Kolkata). Winner on basis of Number of Exhibitors and Net Exhibition Area in 2018. Supporting documents will be exhibitor directory and floor plan. In case of a tie, winner will be adjudged on the basis of number of editions of the show.
Top B City Show (B2C)
For consumer show held in 2018 in any B-City (Any city other than Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahemadabad, Chennai & Kolkata). Winner on basis of Number of Exhibitors and Net Exhibition Area in 2018. Supporting documents will be exhibitor directory and floor plan. In case of a tie, winner will be adjudged on the basis of number of editions of the show.
