Extension Master Gardeners of Lee County Present: Concrete Leaf Casting Workshop
Join the Extension Master Gardeners of Lee County for a fun afternoon of leaf casting! We will be gathering for an informal workshop on Sunday, September 24, from 1-4 p.m. to learn about concrete and how to cast Colocasia, or Elephant Ear, leaves. This technique, once learned, can be used on other leaves and items in the garden! The leaf castings last for many, many years outdoors and make wonderful holiday gifts!

We will gather at 2420 Tramway Road, Sanford, NC 27332 in the 4-H Education Pavilion. All materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own leaf if you would like. If you do, please make sure to cut it just before you come and keep it in water to keep it turgid.

Reserve your spot by filling out the form below and bringing $35 in cash or check (made out to: "NCCE Lee County" Memo: EMGVs of Lee County) when you arrive on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
