RE: NYSEG Rate Case 15-G-0284, Freeville-Lansing Reinforcement Project

Dear PSC Commissioner Audrey Zibelman/NYSEG CEO Mark Lynch,

I oppose the West Dryden Road Pipeline. At a cost of $19 million, this pipeline will bring us fracked gas from Pennsylvania, undermining NYSEG's Energy Smart Community initiative and vision. Real energy smart and sustainable communities don’t set the climate clock back with yet more fossil fuel infrastructure.
Please meet our community’s energy needs through greater efficiency, scaled-up wind and solar energy, and heat pumps for residential and business needs. These, plus demand management, are better for our environment, proven job generators, consistent with NYS’s REV Plan, and, all things considered, less costly for ratepayers.
