External Research Interest Form



Thank you for your interest in conducting research in Jeffo Schools!

External research includes any collection or use of data from Jeffco students or staff for external purposes - any use outside of the school or district (.e.g. research for publication or conferences, research for graduate degrees. Survey and surveillance efforts).

This form is provided for you to  submit your research subject area and proposed study. If the study is in line with district goals or needs, we will then send an application to apply for research approval.

Receipt of an application to conduct reasearch in the distrct does not constitute permission to conduct research. Official written approval of the proposed study must be received from the External Research Committee prior to contacting any student, school, or employee regarding the research.

If any organization or applicant attempts to contact students, schools or employees prior to receiving Approval to Conduct Research, the district may prevent that individual or organization from conducting research in the future.
