Thank you for nominating an individual for inclusion on the CK Arts & Culture Wall of Fame. The Wall celebrates the impact people from Chatham-Kent have has on arts and culture at the local, regional, provincial, national and international level. Past recipients include country superstar Michelle Wright, Canadian folk icon Sylvia Tyson and literary giant Robertson Davies.

We are looking for nominees in six categories - for 2025, we will select six living recipients - one in each category - plus an additional two legacy recipients selected from any category for a total of eight recipients.

Dance
Literary Arts
Music
Theatre Arts
Visual Arts

The deadline for online nominations is 11:59 pm on June 16, 2025.

Recipients will be honoured at the CK Arts & Culture Wall of Fame Gala to be held on October 23, 2025 at the Chatham Cultural Centre.

Theatre Arts - Includes Dramaturgy, playwright, musical theatre writer, vocal/speech coach, Lighting designer, scenic designer, Stage director, music director, theatre producer, theatre choreographer, Stagecraft: casting, scenic construction and rigging, lighting design and operation, wardrobe/costume design, stage makeup, prop-building, stage management, audio engineering, Theatre criticism, Theatre performers (non-musical): actors, comedians, mimes, magicians, illusionists etc.

Visual Arts - Includes “Plastic arts”: Ceramics; Sculpture; Glass, Mosaic work Conceptual art (performance art, installations etc.) Art criticism Drawing in all media, including illustrations, comics, and animation Exhibition curation, Mixed media (including collage, works created from found objects, natural materials, etc.), Murals, Painting, including but not limited to works that are naturalistic/representational (i.e. still life, landscape), or abstract, narrative, symbolistic, emotive/expressionist, political etc. Photography (artistic as opposed to advertising)
