Your answer
When do you need the equipment you are hiring? *
If your event/equipment booking is recurring (e.g. hiring a table and chairs everyday for a week to sell Ball tickets) please list all the day(s) and time(s) that you will require the equipment.
Your answer
Has your event been approved by ANU Facilities and Services? *
All ANU related groups need to complete an F&S Function on Campus form for all on campus events events. You can find the form at: https://services.anu.edu.au/files/guidance/Application_to_hold_a_Function_on_Campus_%20January_2017.pdf event has not been approved you CANNOT hire ANUSA Equipment. If your approval is currently being processed you will be able to make a placeholder booking for equipment but you will need to notify the BKSS Managers when approval is given to ensure you can actually hire the equipment
Please describe your event in detail and precisely what equipment you need to hire *
Due to the high demand on ANUSA equipment it is essential that the BKSS Managers understand the nature of the event so they can assess what equipment is needed for it so that they can allocate equipment in the most efficient manner e.g. a Trivia night for 100 people being held indoors. We need two speakers, one mixing desk, one wired microphone, three XLR cables, three kettle plugs, a power board and two extension cords
Your answer
Are you affiliated with the ANUSA Student Clubs Council? *
Groups affiliated with The Student Clubs Council are entitled to free equipment hire but will need to provide a cash deposit between $50-$300 (depending on equipment hired) that will be returned upon safe return of equipment. Non-affiliated groups may be required to pay a non-refundable hiring fee of $50-300 depending on what equipment is hired. Groups which are directly linked with ANUSA (Collectives and Departments, Committees, other Representatives) are not required to pay a deposit or a hiring fee.

If you are hiring sound equipment, does someone in your group know how to use it? *
If no, you will be required to set aside 15-20 minutes with the Brian Kenyon Student Space Staff to learn how to use the equipment.
Please explain how you will transport the equipment to your venue *
Depending on the equipment you are hiring, the BKSS Managers reserve the right to refuse equipment hire to any group that does not have adequate transport provisions. This is particularly true for all sound equipment bookings. For example, one person carrying two speakers and a mixer across campus is not adequate transport. Three people loading two speakers and a mixer into a car and securing it in place is adequate transport.
Your answer
Is your event overnight or over the weekend? (i.e. you will pick up and return equipment on different days) If so, how and where will you safely store the equipment? *
Depending on the equipment you are hiring, the BKSS Managers reserve the right to refuse equipment hire to any group that does not have adequate storage provisions. This is particularly true for all sound equipment bookings.
