LMC: General Access Orientation
PLEASE NOTE: We have finished General Access Orientations for Winter Quarter. If you are interested in using the Logan Media Center, please check back first week of Spring Quarter (March 30th) as we will have a new set of times available then.
Welcome to the Jonathan Logan Media Center.
The JLMC General Access Orientation is the first step for using all things Media Center.
Our equipment and facilities are available to University of Chicago students, staff, and faculty for artistic creation and teaching. We support the curricular needs of courses in the arts; individual student and faculty artists, co-curricular and extracurricular arts organizations on campus; and other campus artists with the approval of LMC staff. In addition, we work with our campus and community partners to provide AV support for events that take place at the Logan Center.
If you are enrolled in a class in the Logan Center, looking to record a song, seeking use the computer lab to edit photos, or interested in our equipment or facilities for any other art-related purpose, we ask you first attend this short (30-45 minute) general orientation. Please fill out the following form and sign up for one of our upcoming sessions.
If you are looking for gear to support your event or if you have other immediate, non-arts needs please contact AV-Services or TECHB@R:
if you have questions about how this applies.
