Dual Language Program
We are very excited to announce that Deer Park School District will be starting a dual language program beginning the 2024-2025 school year.  The dual language program is only offered in 3rd grade for the 2024-2025 school year.  

The class makeup consists of 1/2 native English speakers and 1/2 native Spanish speakers.  A bilingual certified classroom teacher teaches  lessons in both English and Spanish.  When a lesson is taught in English, the teacher will provide Spanish support.  When a lesson is taught in Spanish, the teacher will provide English support.

The purpose of the dual language program is to: achieve academic success, promote bilingualism and biliteracy, and build multicultural competence & self esteem.  Please click here for more information 
If you are interested in having your 3rd grade child participate in the dual language program, please complete this google form.  Students that meet the criteria will be chosen using a lottery system.  There are limited spots available.
