2026 SuperStates Change Request

This form is for participants who have registered for the 2026 SuperStates Chess Tournament and wish to request any of the following changes:

  1. Section Change: Move from one section to another. (No charge if there is no fee difference. For changes from a 2-day event registration to a 1-day event registration, a $10 deduction will apply to partial refunds. For changes from 1-day event to 2-day event, the discrepancy + $10 service fee will be charged. No refund after March 15th, No Section Change after March 15th)
  2. Request a Bye: (Two half-point byes are allowed for the Championships and JV Sections, and never in the final round. The half-point byes have to be submitted by end of March 20th. All request byes submitted after March 20th including during the tournament will be 0-point bye)
  3. Withdraw: (Cancellation fees may apply. No refund after March 15th)
  4. Team Change: Switch teams or add a team. (No team change after March 15th)
  5. Grade/Name/USCF ID Correction: Fix errors made during registration.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. Please allow up to 48 hours for your requested changes to take effect. We do not send a confirmation email unless clarification is needed. You can check the website after 48 hours to verify that the change has been made as requested. If you need urgent assistance or do not see your request processed within 48 hours, please email us at superstates@icea1.org or reach out in the WhatsApp group for support.
  2. If you need to request multiple changes, please complete a separate form for each request.
