What is Baptism?
Anyone who repents of his or her sin and believes in Christ as their Savior is to be baptized in water. By doing this, they symbolically declare to the world that they have died with Christ and have also been raised to live a new life with Him. It’s pretty special.

Why should we be baptized?  
We are baptized as we follow the example of Christ. (Mark 1:9)
We are baptized in obedience to the command of Christ. (Matthew 28:19)

The Bible teaches us that baptism is one action we take as a next step after we have accepted Jesus Christ into our heart as Lord and Savior.
