2024 CWP-KT and KY/TN AWWA Scholarship Application
The Clean Water Professionals of Kentucky & Tennessee (CWP-KT) and the Kentucky/Tennessee American Water Works Association (KY/TN AWWA) will award four $2,000 scholarships to eligible students pursuing a degree relating to the water industry. Two scholarships will be awarded to Kentucky residents and two scholarships will be awarded to Tennessee residents.

The scholarships will provide reimbursement of tuition, books, and fees and will be distributed through the College/University bursar’s office for use during the 2024-2025 academic year. Scholarship recipients will also receive a 1-year student membership to both AWWA and CWP-KT.

All applications are due by Monday, June 17, 2024. There will be no late applications accepted. Be sure to have all information gathered before you begin.

Mail your official college transcript(s) for all undergraduate and graduate courses to the following address by June 17, 2024. Applications without a transcript will not be considered.

Eligibility
Full-time students attending an accredited Kentucky or Tennessee institution and currently majoring in an area related to the water environment industry are eligible. Student must have accumulated over 65 credit hours.
Selection Process
Evaluation will be made on the basis of academic performance, work experience, community and civic activities, honors, involvement with AWWA/CWP-KT organizations, and career goals. Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Joint Scholarship Committee. The Committee will make a final selection of scholarship awardees by July 19, 2024.
