Main Responsibilities - Represent CJF on the ground at the Alto Trujillo Skatepark project- Coordinate and communicate with relevant parties as required - Teach Edu-Skate classes to primary school students at the Alto Trujillo Skatepark- Fill in lesson reports on the classes (used to evaluate the success of the Edu-Skate Programme)- Collect lesson reports from Edu-skaters- Compile and send weekly compilation of lesson reports to CJF- Compile and send season reports to CJF based on the lesson reports- Manage local Teaching Assistants and Edu-skaters (secondary school students supporting the programme classes)- Be responsible for materials and needs at the Alto Trujillo Skatepark - Function as the primary contact person for CJF on the ground
Required Volunteer Profile:- Skateboarding experience & knowledge- Interest in sport and physical education- Interest in learning about using skateboarding for youth development- Intermediate Spanish- Basic computer literacy (including word processing software such as Microsoft Word)- Experience working with children- Excellent communication skills - Coordination and organisational skills- Enthusiasm- Patience - Responsibility- Minimum 6 month commitment
Desired Volunteer Profile:- Experience teaching/teaching skateboarding- Experience with volunteering/NGO work- Experience with photography and/or video - First Aid training- Fluency in Spanish - Long-term time commitment

CJF is a volunteer-based organisation. As such, please note that this position is unpaid and a monthly volunteer contribution fee is required for coordination of the project and accommodation during your stay in Trujillo. The value of the volunteer contribution fee depends on the volunteer's time commitment and the position in question.
For the Programme Manager, the following contribution fees are used:
First 6-9 months: $260 per month Any extra month after 9 months: $160 per month (for those months)
Accommodation is provided by our local partner organisation Espaanglisch. Daily meals and private transport to the Alto Trujillo Skatepark can also be provided by Espaanglisch upon request.
