The Diana Initiative Mentor Volunteer Sign-Ups 2020
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for The Diana Initiative 2020.

Dates are not yet set and we will reach out to you once the dates are set to confirm your continued availability and interest.

At this time we believe the time commitments should be as follows:

Call-For-Papers Mentors should have at least 10+ hours of time to volunteer for reviewing the initial applications, being assigned a mentee and emailing them throughout the process, checking in with the other mentors in slack, and 3 interactive 1-hour sessions.

Presentation Mentors should have at least 20+ hours of time to volunteer. The expectation is that mentors and mentees will have ten 1 hour mentoring sessions, mentor check ins on slack, and weekly emails back and forth.

Student Mentors should have at least 10+ hours of time to volunteer. We would like them to meet with the student (online) and email the weeks before summer camp, meet once in person during summer camp, and meet at least once (online) after summer camp.

Thank you we will reach out in early 2020!

Code Of Conduct:
Our full Code of Conduct can be found on our Policies page at https://www.dianainitiative.org/about/policies/

We welcome everyone that wants to help, even something small is very appreciated. However once help commitment is made for a specific task or role, since we are a small group, it is crucial that not only the volunteer delivers on that commitment but also be responsive on its progress to the lead. If unforeseen circumstances prevent a volunteer to deliver, the volunteer lead needs to know asap to be able to take alternate measure.

Thank you for your cooperation!
