Following on from the success of the Summit of Young Elected Local and Regional Leaders that took place in 2017 and 2018, Renew Europe CoR (former ALDE-CoR) have yet again teamed up with European Liberal Youth (LYMEC) and Young Democrats for Europe (YDE) to organise a third Summit in 2019.
Young (18-35) local and regional politicians with an elected mandate and having a responsibility either in government or in opposition are encouraged to apply.
The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for young liberal democrat local and regional politicians to meet and share ideas and best practice amongst themselves, and afterwards to meet with experienced local and regional politicians in a joint meeting with Renew Europe (former ALDE-CoR).
It is a 1-day event packed with information and training sessions, networking, a high-level summit among the participants and a joint session with the Renew Europe CoR.

***Please note that on Wednesday 26 June, and following the decision of the ALDE Group in the European Parliament, ALDE-CoR Group decided to rename the ALDE political group in the European Committee of the Regions to ‘Renew Europe’.
