East Riding of Yorkshire Council, in conjunction with Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK), are delivering the Better Broadband subsidy scheme to make speeds of at least 2mbps available to all East Riding properties. This scheme contributes towards the equipment and installation of a basic broadband connection.
Broadband East Riding is opening up the scheme to premises that are currently not able to access internet speeds of greater than 2Mbps and will not benefit from the fibre deployment.
Simply complete the application form, answer the questions and the team will determine whether you are eligible for the scheme or not. This will depend on what services are currently available to you and whether or not you will be in the build plan for fibre broadband. If you wish to find out more about the fibre build in East Riding, either enter your home address into the checker at http://gosuperfastchecker.culture.gov.uk/ or visit the East Riding website at http://broadband.eastriding.gov.uk/ to find out whether you will be benefiting from a fibre upgrade soon.
