All adult volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Teens may apply to volunteer for the summer Friends of the Library TAB program in May. We do not accept court ordered community service. In-person interview is required. Not all applications will be accepted. If all volunteer positions are full we will file the application for up to six months. Call us with questions and ask for the library director.

What would you like to do as a volunteer?

Shelve: Organizes and shelves books and other media according to library rules and alphanumeric system. Bends and stoops. Lifts books overhead, pulls and pushes books on shelves overhead and below waist. Pulls and pushes heavy carts. Lifts boxes of books.

Adult Programs: Assists library staff with setup and cleanup in adult programs.

Senior Computer Training: Helps senior citizens learn to use computers.

Friends Inventory: Assists Friends of the Library with sorting donations and organizing book sale shelves.
