MLK Day of Service 2019
We have reached capacity! We are no longer able to accept participants for the MLK Day of Service.

If you are still looking for a way to honor Dr. King's life and legacy please join us on Friday, January 25 from 5-6pm in the Norris University Center McCormick Auditorium for an engaging program.

Leadership Development and Community Engagement (LDCE) is pleased to sponsor — along with our co-partners, the Moran Center and Students Organizing Against Racism at ETHS — an educational program on criminal justice reform held on Friday, January 25 from 5-6pm in Norris: McCormick Auditorium. This community conversation is entitled: Chicago inJustice: anti-racist action in the face of mass incarceration.

Featured community groups include: Chicago Community Bond Fund, Chicago Torture Justice Center, Black + Pink, and No Cop Academy. Benji Hart, local educator and artist, will serve as the event facilitator.

This gathering is open to the public and we encourage ETHS students, Northwestern students, and local community members to attend. No registration required. The program will be followed by a reception (with really good food) and action opportunities.
