We at St. Xenia Camp would like to thank you for offering alms in the form of service to our youth. Because our support staff is composed entirely of volunteers, it is important to understand that every volunteer plays a critical role in a successful camp week. Please be aware of the following Expectations for Volunteers before completing your application:
- You must be able to commit for the following dates: August 12-19, 2023
- Volunteers at St. Xenia Camp are assigned specific roles and responsibilities- every effort is made to assign you to your team of preference, but the needs of the camp may dictate your assignment.
- St. Xenia Camp is an alcohol and drug-free environment that provides opportunities for the fellowship and spiritual rewards that come from a common service in Christ. Your actions, appearance, and demeanor as an Orthodox Christian are an important part of fulfilling the overall mission of St. Xenia Camp.
- Though we make every effort to allow volunteers to partake in some of the camp’s amenities, this camp does not involve adults-only activities- our mission is to provide for the spiritual growth and fellowship of our Orthodox youth.

Applications should be submitted no later than July 1st in order to complete an accurate background check, which is required for all adult participants at St. Xenia Camp.
Applications will be considered in the order they are received based on a variety of factors. While we try to take as many volunteers as possible, we do have limited accommodations and must give priority to campers first.
Volunteer assignments will be decided and communicated by mid-July, though you may hear from us earlier if you are a new applicant, or if we have any questions.
